Eric Paul Lefkofsky is an entrepreneur from Southfield, Michigan with a determination to succeed. After attending the Univeraity of Michigan and graduating with honors in 1991, he attended the Univeraity of Michigan Law School and graduated in 1993 with his Muris Doctor. He persevered through many business ventures on his pathway to success and has a current role as founder and CEO of Tempus.

He is the co-founder of companies like Groupon, Echo Global Logistics, InnerWorkings, Mediaocean, and Uptake. Most recently, Lefkofsky co-founded Tempus in 2016 and is currently CEO of the company.

After graduating law school, Eric Lefkofsky and a friend from college bought an apparel company, Brandon Apparel, with money they borrowed from family. The two went on to create Starbelly in 1999. Starbelly was an Internet company that sold promotional items. In 2000, Halo Industries bought the company, and Lefkofsky was hired as CEO. The company soon went bankrupt and faced many lawsuits, but they were all resolved. This didn’t prevent or stop Lefkofsky in any way.

In 2001, Lefkofsky co-founded InnerWorkings to service print orders for companies. In 2005, he went on and started Echo Global Logistics. This was far from the end for Lefkofsky. In 2006, he did it again with the MediaBank, which provides customers with planning, buying, and accounting software.

Then in 2007, he provided capital to fund This online collective action website later changed its name to In 2010, it was Lightbank, a firm designated with starting new companies in Chicago. In 2014, it was an analytic company, Uptake, LLC. Now, Lefkofsky is on to his new venture, Tempus.

Tempus is a technology company providing physicians the ability to provide personalized cancer care to patients. Physicians have the capability through Tempus’s innovative interactive analytical and machine learning platform to deliver cancer care that is focused and well-informed. Molecular profiles and genomic data is collected for analyzing. Physicians can then analyze a profile that is similar to their patient’s data to make the best decision possible for this patient. Squaw Valley Statement

Squaw Valley Resort in Olympic Valley, sits in the famed Lake Tahoe region of California. Squaw Valley has issued a statement regarding the drinking water at Squaw’s upper mountain. Due to heavy rain storms in October several of the water systems in Placer County were compromised. During the summer new water systems were installed in the Gold Coast and High Camp. These water systems were overrun by the storms. During routine testing of the water there was a finding of bacterias in the water. The testing done by Squaw Valley found e-coli and coliform bacteria in the water. This finding caused Squaw Valley to immediately notify health officials at the Placer County Department of Environmental Health and the Squaw Valley Public Service District. Fortunately the contaminated water was never available to the public.

Squaw Valley is working with water safety experts as well as with local and county health officials to rectify this issue. They are taking steps to insure the safety of all guests and employees of their resort. There will not be normal water usage at either Gold Coast or High Camp until all tests confirm the safety of the water. So far there have been no reports of any health issues arising from the consumption of the affected water. Bottled water is being offered by Squaw Valley to all of their guests.

Squaw Valley has taken this matter very seriously and insures that the safety of their guests is first and foremost in all actions they are taking during this incident. Top to bottom skiing will continue on the slopes and skiers are all being made aware to not drink the water. All restaurants in the upper mountain area are remaining closed.

Since Squaw Valley reported this issue on November 8th the water is being continuously treated. The most recent news from the Placer County Department of Environmental Health has reported that three of the four wells are showing low levels of coliform and no E. coli. The treatment and testing will continue until the water is deemed safe by all experts and officials. Squaw Valley will continue to keep their guests informed and updated as this very important situation is taken care of. Squaw Valley is incredibly thankful to Placer County and the Squaw Valley Public Service District for all of the assistance and cooperation each of these organizations has shared with them during this critical time.

A Shooting as an Example of Needed Change

The Quincy New Brunswick is an apartment complex in New Jersey which has been the scene of multiple violent crimes over the past three years. The first noticeable incident took place on May 7, 2013 when a pizza delivery man working in the area was robbed at gunpoint. This incident of armed robbery by an individual who went by the nickname, “Pistol”, is only the first example in how the apartment location has negatively effected those living within it and around it. The latest incident, which included the shooting of an unidentified man and a visit to the local hospital, is another prime reason why something needs to be done to resolve these issues.


33 Commercial Avenue, which is located in the same proximity as The Quincy, saw four cases of gunfire at roughly 9:30 PM. A few moments later a man walked himself into the nearby hospital with non-life threatening gun shot wounds. The local police are still searching for who is responsible for this crime, and the names of the man who was shot and those may be responsible are being guarded until a later date while the investigation continues.


The increase in crime around The Quincy is a startling for those living nearby. They are frightened that they are in danger themselves, with the constant realization that gunfire occurs on a normal basis. In order to resolve these issues once and for all there needs to be an increase in police presence and a move towards providing an opportunity for members of the community to see them in action so that they can understand their personal importance to the New Brunswick society as a whole. Without a change in pace on how the police are handling these issues there might not be a solution that is found to meet this issue successfully.

The company does this by injecting early stage investments in upcoming companies. It also acts as a minority shareholder in its portfolio companies. Endemic capital mainly invests in Russia. By 2016, it had invested in 9 companies, both in Russia and abroad.

Besides entrepreneurship, Beltyukov is a committed philanthropist. His philanthropy revolves around education and boosting businesses. He established the Russian Alumni Scholarship of INSEAD. In Keith Mann’s mind, the cops have come under fire for really no reason, and he wanted to let them know he believes in them and will always stand behind them.

John Cantalupo Reports On the Difference of the Loan Status for the New DEVCO Project

In January 2016, Middlesex County Improvement Authority increased its outstanding loan value from Casino Reinvestment Development Authority. The 20 million dollar loan borrowed in 2005 has an interest of 1 million dollars.

According to the, the totaled amount in missed payments is currently at 7 million dollars.

The loan was an arrangement by Chris Paladino, an attorney who heads both firms.

Attorney Christopher Paladino, the chairman of both companies, who arranged the $20 million Heldrich loan.

He recently commented that the repayment would be complete in a couple of years.

The loan was part of the 107 million dollars raised by the corporation to finance the Heldrich. The total amount included the $70 million for municipal bonds granted by the Middlesex County Improvement Authority.

The loan was used to bankroll the building of the Heldrich hotel, and conference center. The construction, headed by the New Brunswick Development Corporation.

The hotel opened in 2007 and had had a low attraction rate of customers.

In 2015, the hotel had an occupancy of 63.5 percent for its 235 room vacancy.

Due to its falling economic status, the corporation contributed $776,000 to fund the basic hotel operations such as accommodation items, as reported by Paladino.

Senior bondholders have since received payment with a 5 percent interest while the junior bondholders have never received payment.

John Cantalupo assured the public that the new project under the Getaway projects by DEVCO, of constructing the Stockton University would not experience the same economic hurdles as the Heldrich.

The loan borrowed will be repaid using tax credit sale and dorm-room revenue.

In December of 2015, Governor Chris Christie signed a state law restricting state agencies from loaning businesses and nonprofit organizations.

The DEVCO project is a real estate company set up in the mid-1970’s.It has helped in increasing New York’s economy. It has managed $1.6 billion investments since its start.
